Modern sculpture and its prosperity

Modern sculpture and its prosperity
The use of surrealistic images, human abstraction, a combination of new sources of energy and new materials and various levels led to the creation and flourishing of sculpture.

Making a modern and artistic sculpture of Moore
In the 21st century, Henry Moore created modern and beautiful sculptures in various human forms.
His modern sculptures were in postures such as sitting or standing and other postures.
He used holes and hollow spaces in his sculptures.

Advances in Modern Sculpture
Modern sculpture developed in parallel with modern painting.
The first period of modern sculpture emerged in the 1850s and 1900s.
During this period, an attempt was made to use light reflection to create more abstract and modern sculptures instead of the previous flat sculptures.

Traditional and modern sculpture
Of course, it is better to keep in mind that even with the expansion of modern sculpture in recent years, traditional sculpture is still not obsolete.
Traditional and real sculpture is used in many public buildings and structures in cities and has many fans.

Glow - Copper

A smaller version of the popular Glow artwork is a delicate, glowing vessel of kiln formed
glass.

Taking inspiration from volcanic eruptions, this delicate black glass vessel with its glowing
copper interior resembles volcanic rock and the glowing lava within.

Looks gorgeous in any interior space!

Concentrica

The Concentrica series- a group of pieces inspired by a particular saprophytic fungi
forming on dead wood. Once cracked open, the fungi reveal distinct light and dark rings
forming in a concentric pattern emanating from its center- humbling in its uniformity and
measured approach to the slow restructuring of ligneous matter into nutrients for the
woodland floor. The different pieces in the series have all been manipulated to reflect upon
this process of decay and change.

Stream

The piece of art is inspired by the nature constantly renewing and returning to itself. In this
circle of changes and influences, the element of water is a reflection of the surrounding
world. It’s been said, that it is impossible to find “the same water” on Earth. It is like a sheer
sheet. Even the finest touch can change it. Our state of mind is actually a flow of energy and
vibrations. By touching us, the tiny drops of emotions change the rivers of our souls.

Daybreak

Daybreak is a multi component installation with a gradient color range meant to mimic the
break of dawn. The Florida skies and natural environment are a constant source of
inspiration for us and this work was a fun way to incorporate more color into the work.

Fragile Structure

This series is made up of some glass and some ceramic works. These works are highly unique form and looking. Norihiko Terayama created them from damaged vases, coffee cups and so on. He start breaking damaged object into some fragments. Some of fragment are rasped, then their surfaces are scraped out. He reconstruct shape with fragments by highly original way. Artist Statement Fragile Structure One of the attractivenesses of ceramic or glass works is their fragility as structure, which fascinates us. Nothing ever lasts. Broken objects can never be reproduced, eve n if they are restored perfectly. It transforms into a different object.Alt hough the appearance is restored as ever, it looks something wrong. When I c onsider wh ere this strange atmosphere comes f rom, a thou ght came to me that its reason might be that a broken object should "take on evanescence." Taking a different way from restoration, I have tried to make a new object with a new perspective of taking on evanescence.

Secret

The search for a new sign, a sharp image gives a fresh perception of the
world.Three-dimensional form, gradually opening outwards, as gradually tearing away the
essence, in the unity of internal and external. It also requires an irresistible sculptural form, a
structural embodiment.Independent casting gives the possibility of realization.

Missing Hero

A memorial or monument symbolizes the collective memories of people in a particular area using texts or statues as a vehicle. A memorial plays a role as a memory bank to remind us of people and circumstances at a certain point in time. Critically these recollections are directed and influenced by the champion of the time, leaving behind the other side of the story. The history is recorded, erased, and re-recorded depending on who is in power. The phenomenon of dismantling and modifying the old monuments as well as erecting a new monument signifies the paradox of this seemingly long-standing structure. We perceive the monument as an unchallenged narrative that will withstand the test of time but all-too-often we see the account of the story changed, altered, or even lost. The record of the story, though significant, is not permanent. The memorials that are aesthetically pleasing could present both the visible and invisible aspects of the recorded story. In this series, her sculptures record personal memories, dreams, and hopes – all of which could fade in the future.

Modern sculpture and Pablo Picasso

Modern sculpture and Pablo Picasso:
In the twentieth century, Pablo Picasso revolutionized the art of sculpture using Cubist innovation.
Using raw materials and obsolete objects, he created a creative three-dimensional sculpture.

Abstract sculpture
Then in the following years Constantine Brancoshi paved the way for abstract sculpture.
From 1950 onwards, with the trend towards modern sculpture, including abstract and figurative sculptures, the traditional style of sculpture was abandoned.

Modern sculpture by Pablo Picasso
Picasso designed a large statue 15 meters long, which is located in Chicago, and because of this statue, he was nicknamed Picasso Chicago.
He designed this modern sculpture with such enthusiasm that it was not at all clear what it represented.

The symbol of the city of Chicago, by Pablo Picasso
This beautiful modern sculpture was made in a completely abstract way and looked like a bird, a horse or a woman.
This modern and abstract sculpture is one of the prominent symbols of Chicago, which was unveiled in 1967.
In the late 1960s, abstract and modern sculptors used different methods and new materials to create their works.
