If the glaze dries very slowly, the brittle adhesion process will take longer and the dried glaze layer may break.
Also, during drying, bubbles may form in the wet glaze layer

It does not exist with the lower body and therefore can stimulate glazing and rupture glaze during the melting process.

This happens if the pottery is very thin, the glaze contains a lot of water, or if the pottery is already wet when you apply the glaze.
Preheat unglazed pottery to speed up the drying process
(150 ° C in kiln, increase temperature if more temperature was needed),
